This station was abandoned by the GN in 1926. The book "Minnesota Place Names" (3rd Ed., 2001) claims that this was the same station as Browns Valley, but the 1924 Minnesota RR Map shows them as two different stations with the Lake Traverse station being slightly north of Browns Valley at the end of the line on the shore of the lake. | ||||||

Notes About Existing Stations... Browns Valley (GN) - This station was originally located between 2nd and 3rd Streets at GPS: 45.597310, -96.831931 in Browns Valley. According to the 1915 GN Valuation Records, this station was built in 1880 and measured 30'x60'. |
