The first station here was built in 1886. This was likely the original Glenwood station moved here after the original Sedan depot burned down around 1892. That station then burned down in 1917 with a new station built in 1918. Subsequently the 1918 station burned down in 1934 and was replaced by a boxcar body. (Dates are according to the 2015 book, The Soo Line In Minnesota). | ||||||

Notes About Existing Stations... Farwell (Soo Line) - This station has been moved twice since its retirement. It was first on a farm on the NW side of Mitmoen Lake before being moved in 2010 to its current location near Holmes City. |
