Ceylon
(Tenhassen)
This station was on the corner of South Railroad Street and Main Street. It was built in 1899. The railroad originally named this townsite "Tenhassen," but it was later changed to "Ceylon" (named after the island off the SE coast of India).
Dunnell This station was located on Pederson Avenue between Lawrence and Silcox (when that street went thought to Pederson).
Fairmont This station was located on the east side of North Avenue north of Fifth Street at GPS: 43.657387, -94.462104. The original station burned in July 1904. Itw as not completely destroyed, but neccessitated the building of a new station. The old depot was then moved a bit to the east and attached to the new station as a freight section (Freeborn County Times, 9-30-1904).
Fairmont This station was located at the east end of 2nd Street just east of Dewey Street at GPS: 43.654001, -94.450908. It was built in 1899 (along with the freight station to the north). This depot was abandoned by the railroad in the mid 1920's and the Omaha Road then used the CNW depot downtown. It was used as a beer depot and for storage after it went out of service and was still standing into at least the 1960s. It was almost identical to the Blue Earth depot.
fox lake Built in 1899, this station was on Railroad Street (CR 23) between Main and Dewey Streets.

The station was on the south side of Railroad Street at Peach Street. It was built in 1899.
manyaska There is not a town here anymore. The station was at the corner of Broad and Railroad Streets and was built in 1899.
Monterey
(TRIMONT)
This station was on Railroad Street between Broadway and Summit Streets. Monterey was in Section 31 of Galena Township, just west of Triumph (Trimont).
northrop The station was on the west side of Bridgeman Street between Freund and Von Holst Streets. It was built in 1899.
ormsby This station was on the north side of Main Street on the west side of the tracks (which ran parallel to CR 4).
Sherburn This station was on the north side of 2nd Street on the east side of the tracks at GPS: 43.654307, -94.731368.
Sherburn This station was on the west side of Main Street on the south side of the tracks at GPS: 43.651976, -94.727352.

This station was located on 6th Avenue SE, just south of Main Street. It was built in 1900.

Notes About Existing Stations...

Fairmont (C&NW) - This station was originally located between Main Street and North Street (now Downtown Plaza) south of 7th Street at GPS: 43.657974, -94.463103. After the Omaha depot closed in the 1920s, the Omaha moved into this station.

Granada (CM&St.P) - This station was originally located on South Main Street between Becker and Chipman Streets in Granada.

Truman (CSt.PM&O) - This station was originally located between 2nd and 3rd Avenues just south of Ciro Street in Truman.

Welcome (CM&St.P) - This station was originally located on Park Street between Dugan and Campbell Streets. The station was on the south side of the tracks with the old public square park on the north side.
