This one-story station was originally at the loction of the original station listed above. When the Milwaukke Road realigned the tracks between here and Big Stone City, the station was either moved (or a new station was built) south about 500 feet to GPS: 45.297102, -96.439265 along the new alignment around 1916 (The Sisseton Weekly Standard, 11-17-1916). | ||||||

Clinton (CM&St.P) - Although the town was called "Clinton" when it was platted, the railroad called it by its old name "Batavia" until the town was officially incorporated as "Clinton" in 1890.
